I use to think the Internet leveled the playing field but no not in a good way and I also thought the Internet would be the ideal super information highway but instead it's open the floodgates to misinformation and all sorts of scams and other criminal activities. 

There needs to be international agreements to regulate all online businesses starting with an Accreditation Process whereby all accredited businesses will have a special license as proof of their legitimacy and this license is renewed/reviewed every year including review of any complaints against.  All receipts / transactions includes a unique business accreditation number for efficiency, easier identification and tracking. 

If the above was implemented on a global scale customers would be encouraged to deal only with accredited businesses.
