OK...you got me on this one.  I loves me some Hank Snow but I would've figured he wouldn't know what or how to use a thesaurus and what kind of transcriptions are these??  That's one heck of an album cover.  It is a compilation or somethin??

Yep, it's a compilation ... 5 CD's, with a ton of songs on each one disc. Plus things like radio ad's he did for Pan Am Airlines IIRC ... odd things like that. Been a while since I listened to it.

I have no idea who came up with the name for the album. I always thought it was odd too. :)

yep just got in about an hour ago and was disappointed that the box wasn't at the front door.  but then I go to the bathroom and the doorbell rings whilst I'm "reading"...

X2 HAS ARRIVED! 

but I"m not installing it yet.  I probably will by the end of the weekend but I have a lot to catch up on before I takle that monster.

The ONLY reason I didn't get it from Sweetwater was because they told me they didn't get boxes from Cakewalk anymore and everything they got came in shrink wrap with a stiff piece of cardboard so the DVD's wouldn't get flexed and broke.

I'm happy for you! And at the same time I feel like I was lied to and ripped off by Cakewalk for being asked to pay $30 for a box that they give away to everyone else in the world. It's not right now matter how they try to spin it ...

They told me it was only Cakewalk that did the no box thing, and the sales rep didn't even know about it until I got my shipment and it was just a shrink wrapped piece of cardboard with a couple DVD's thrown in and I called back to complain. He had to make some calls and get back to me.

It leaves you feeling like you got lied to and screwed over.

Now I'm wondering, who the hell got my box when I ordered X1 from Sweetwater, know what I mean? Did the guys in the warehouse keep them and sell on eBay or something? Or did they download it and want the box, so they swiped some?

Oh well. What ya gonna do.

It could be worse, I could have got the box and no CD's. Or maybe that would have been better with X1 on my system.
