I´ve had a bunch of crashes despite fairly low usage so far.

All crashes related to rightclicking a bus while being in the undocked console, docking the console solved it, but I like having it undocked.
Out of the blue I thought I´d uncheck X-Ray, since I don´t use it anyway, & viola - smooth sailing.
I have a hard time thinking this was hardware-related since I have a more powerful computer than ever before & X1 ran fine on it for 6 months before the release of X2, can´t remember whether X-Ray was unchecked in X1 or not.

I haven´t had time to use the new stuff apart from the plugins, which seems to work fine so far.
A minor issue is that X2 seems to load "slow" compared to X1, freezing just like when X2 crashed (as described above).

Well - after a crash with R-Mix, and then not getting dim pro 1.5 to load correctly, I had to send in a bug notice... It was shortly after the release date.  It wasn't an emergency, but I did want to get that synth working.   The cake team responded with a process to work through. I followed it and it didn't work. Then they came back with something else to check... Before walking through the nicely detailed listing,  I was dinking with WAC (set it to off) on system 7.  I went back through the steps and noticed that VST scanning wasn't working, something that the last set of steps said I might have to do.  So I went to check VST scanning setup and sure enough, the SCAN VST button was greyed out.

I couldn't get it to work, then I remembered I installed a downloaded version of X2. Since I had purchased the DVD set, I unistalled everything, deleted the registry entries for dim pro just to make sure, then re-installed X2 first.  The VST scan process kicked off AND the scan VST button was working.  I loaded Dim Pro 1.5 and bingo - it worked.  Ran into a scan issue with R-Mix...  SO - I downloaded the update patch, installed it... NOW everything is working perfectly... No crashes, no R-MIX problems... Seems my problem was the original install, whether it be me or the downloaded install, I will never know - but, the re-install using the disks fixed it for me!  Maybe the hack to remove 1.2 and 1.5, along with setting WAC off too..

My hats off to Cakewalk support. While the prescribed fixes didn't exactly work, the last part of the note helped me find a culprit.  I really appreciated their knowlege and tenacity. I AM HAPPY!!

Thanks Cakewalk!

Astronomic number of crashes.  Well into mixing a 30 track project.  There is a crash for every plugin added that causes me to reboot the entire thing.  Too late to port the project into X1 because I am using the console.

Still working alright even without the Quick Fix. I've had a couple of random crashes (like two) but the projects popped back up nice and quick after. A few audio engine stops (again random but not catastrophic). All in all it's pretty darned solid and I've been tracking for hours almost every day since I installed it a couple weeks ago.

Mixing... well that might hold some surprises for me. We'll see.

I am happy with X2, both functionally and in terms of stability. I had a few crashes initially, but those went away largely after I installed the patch.

As expected, it's turned into a fest of frustration. Honestly, I don't know why at first it was fine and then went all "bonkers" on me, but it did. Sorry for the vent.......

My woes started once I started to mix.  The slightest provocation such as inserting a plugin even without the song playing results in a crash.
