Big song to tackle.  I couldn't believe you were doing it when I saw the post.  However.....you guys nailed it.  The current Mrs. did a wonderful job.  Ed was flawless until the "note" towards the end.  LOL!  Daryl, you and yours done good!

Lynn - thank you for the nice words sir

Batsbrew - thanks for the compliments - I'll have another listen to that bottom end. I'm not sure about the ebow - Steve is in the UK and we did everything via Dropbox. He sent the wave file with delay already recorded and I added compression and verb. He did a great job though.

M@ B - I'm glad you enjoyed it - thanks for the listen

Whaaaat?  No Dulcimer?

Well done Mrs. G. and Co. on a spot on performance by everyone/well mixed. I enjoyed listening to this on my headphones and if I had to nit pick anything, it would be the slight brittleness on the high end........but, if that's the desired goal......you've scored mate!!

The Mrs. & you should do a duet next.....

Warren - thanks or the compliments - it was the current Mrs' idea - I'm glad she talked me into it now :)

Cclarry - the current Mrs D loves it too - I hope you enjoyed our version

Mesh - thanks mate - I wanted a dulcimer solo, the current Mrs threatened that if I got my dulcimer out, she would quickly become the ex-Mrs

Wow, that's good. Very, very nice vocal performance, especially in the harmony sections. If you just backed off the compression so those 'plosives were tamed, this would be perfect.

How refreshing to hear someone who can actually sing the melody without resorting to unnecessary embellishment.

This was my wife and my song when we were dating (no married over 39 years.)  So... this song is well over 40.

Nice cover and unique arrangement.  Well sung!

James -  thanks mate - I'll tell her not to use so much compression next time

Daryl - (fabulous name) -  thanks for the kind words - the song was the current Mrs D's choice but yes, it is a great song

Nice work. Vox are too hot at times and its way too sharp in the highs (which coming from me, who likes sharp highs, should say a lot hehehe). Otherwise outstanding work all.

Great song don't know the original but I bet this is better... Lower Elisabeths voice with EQ between 900 hz and 1500 hz though its a little bit to bright now.
