Cakewalk Plugins with Sonar X2 32bit and 64bit

When I was using  X1 and X2 32bit I had a bunch of Cakewalk plgins that came with the software. Now that I installed X2 64bit version I only have about 13 Cakewalk plugins. Whqt happened to the others?

    32-bit DXI plugins won't show up in X2 64-bit.

So they don't offer the same plugins in 64bit? That doesn't make sense.

some are 32 bit only. dreamstation comes to mind. you could point your vst folder settings to the 32 bit plugin path c:\program files(x86)\cakewalk\vstplugins  but beware of .dll files with the same name as the 64 bit versions.

You can try a DX -> VST wrapper

It will look at registered DXi's and make them appear as VSTs.

Ohpps !!! I did´nt got an folder like that...;)

I´m running 64bit the only folder I can find in (x86) is an Cakewalk (only) folder with Beatscape and Studio Instruments in it. Pretty sure to delete such an folder after deinstalling x1 64bit...

    ...something wrong during installation...

you would only get that folder if you had installed the 32bit version of sonar at some point.

I have a clean install of X2 64bit so anything I had with 32 bit is gone. I removed evrything when I uninstalled X1 and X2 32bit. There were a lot of 32bit cakewalk plugs. It's a shame only a few are 64bit. They are some good plugs.

Beside any "good stuff" and the "good feel" working with Sonar X2 PE.
...There´s some kind of an itching to Me...

...to many LE versions in Sonar and "upgradeable stuff"...sorry I´d bought an FULL DAW...not an advertising block for third party developers...

...ok, beside that...I´m fine. But for the newbies without an PodFarm or GR5 on their SSD/HDD...
...TH2 LE Version is just an "free on magazine DVD gift"...it felt like an bitter taste and not very professional...;(
