My wife has informed me that if I don't sort myself out by Friday she is going to put a rocket up my arse. I can only assume she loves me so much she is hoping that will save me by putting me clear of the devastation.

Roll on Saturday when we can all find another end of the world date to look forward to.

Just 2 hours ago we had a complete black-out (which totally unusual for this part of the world). The entire town pitch black, the kids started to cry.
When I finally found a candle, I looked at the watch and said to my wife, "Well it's happening 6 hours early then. Who said it wouldn't???" And she got nervous ...

30 minutes later power was back; 2 hours later Sonar X2a was released

this is not the end of the world as we know it????

The world will end when DuPont comes out with a new one. They will find a way of getting rid of this one and charging us a premium to live on the new one.

The sad part are the stories of people thinking about killing their children so they will not have to suffer.

Ray Bradbury story:  They all agreed the world would end on Friday, so they ALL killed their children Thursday night. And the world ended as expected.

Whew! Was quite relieved when my Doomsday Pod finally arrive this morning. Boy was I sweatin' bullets!
 
Then I discovered I had to put the stupid thing together. AAAAAAAAAAAAH! There's no time for this!
 
To make matters worse the only instructions were in French. This is just GREAT!

OK, so my neighbor speaks French, sort of, so he agreed to help me put it together but only if I let him in with me. What could I say? Anyway, we finally got the thing going. We're closing the door in just a few minutes. Wish us a happy new life somewhere out there.
 
BTW, the instructions say once I'm sealed inside, I won't be let out for 10 years to insure any nuclear fallout or bits and pieces of non believers or any other free radicals circulating through the cosmos are all gone and its safe to emerge.
