so besides the people who feel it's a waste of my time to just run in 64 bit...lol does anyone have a screen shot of how to drag and drop these shells or wrappers? your help would be very appreciated. not able to figure it out. i've tried to drop the f/x dll into the shells and i've tried to drop the shell files into the f/x. both to no avail. once i do, i won't have to ping pong back and fourth all the time to 32 bit sonar and 64 bit sonar.

I don't remember going ping-pong back and 'fourth' (sic) on anything if it's something I need access to 32 bit tools for I stay 32 bit throughout usually.

How you waste your time isn't a concern of mine, all I'm saying if you need to use your existing 32 bit tools then the 32 bit version of Sonar is still an attractive option and likely the most sane one.

the last cd project i was able to stay 64 bit throughout the whole mixing process. dumped it down to 32 bit sound forge to master. however i miss some of the sound forge plugins throughout the mixing process that i used to use when i was totally 32 bit. the 32 bit version is still attractive, but staying in 64 bit throughout the mic & mix process is how i want to do it. once it's time to master, sound forge/ cd architect is the way i like to do it. i have nothing against running a 32 bit system, did it for years. but i REALLY like running 64 bit with 16 gig of ram. much more effective processing.

You shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get this to work in 64 bit mode.  My SF plug-ins show up in my plug-in manager in X2.  I was able to just select the plug I wanted and insert it into a clips f/x bin without using a wrapper or anything else.  It worked like a charm for me and should work for anybody else.  I am running SoundForge 10, btw, but I don't know if that makes a difference.  Without knowing your system, I don't know if we're on the same page or not, but it can be done with little effort.

All the best,
Lynn

Thanks Jonbouy! and to Vuzz13, "hey, you BradeRunner!"

I didn't get that cwp. would go between bit versions. I will install the 32 bit and play around.

Thanks Michael
