V-Vocal freezes X2

Well, V-Vocal has never been stable but I still have the need to go to it from time to time, specially to time stretch vocal parts.
It is odd that it is still unstable on X2.
Is this happening to everybody?

regards,
joni

I can't even get V-Vocal to open in X2, I just get a blank white screen, Cakewalk support told me I would have to reinstall X2 to get it to work, but I just use Melodyne instead.......

    +1 to Melodyne

when i asked my last question on v-vocals everyone recommended melodyne

so I just recently bought it; it works like a charm; easy to use; brilliant results

I have no problems using v vocal at all, I believe there was a similar thread a few days ago with many users expressing the same as the feeling I am.

no problems at all, works like a charm here.

As I mentioned in the other thread, it is worth reading Bitflipper's     excellent thread on using VVocal:-

I'm quite careful with VVocal, keep the clips short and bounce them when finished.  Works well here.

In the older version (e.g. 8.5.3) you can Cntrl+drag the edge of the clip and it'll give you a percentage number as to how much your stretching the clip. A yellow line should appear at the edge of the clip before you try to drag it. I'm not sure if this technique still works since the Smart Tool has been implemented. I use V-Vocal for pitch correction and always bounce to clip as soon as I'm done with it. Never leave it open like an Effect. That's just asking for crashes.

Yes, that is what I have been doing recently. Use vvocal and mediately bounce the cilp...
