hey James, said i would listen again... still getting the impression the mix is a little narrow. some of the percussion (cymbal/triangle) sounds a little midi, i'm sure you have checked velocities on each hit, and it's just a limitation of the software. the tune is better than i remembered! and still can't really hear any woodwind, even though i was looking out for it!

Hi, James, Phenomenal job on this amazing sounding orchestral piece! I can't believe I almost missed this. I can't even imagine the amount of work that went into achieving the clarity, articulation and "realness" of the full live sounding orchestra. Perfect for a cinematic movie score. Definitely reminds me of when I was a little kid and my parents would take the family to Radio City Music Hall or Lincoln Center for Philharmonic concerts. Excellent work, thanks for the memories, buddy! Bob

I've so much wanted to work on some pieces like this but time has bee a constraint, until now, so who knows... Very dynamic piece. The clarity is amazing. Really great sound! Daryl

Really nice, James. Did you play those tracks on keys and assign voices or write on staff? I want to see the movie it goes with now! :-)

Not too shabby, Jim. How exactly did you mix the two libraries? Use one for some instruments and some for the others? Obviously, I'm no expert, but this is brilliant. I'd like to see the movie too. :)

Great job with the orchestration and midi performance! Excellent use of the percussion, pitched and non pitched. I believe it was a triangle layered in there on several sections, it sounded great. Whenever I try that, it sounds like a midi triangle. Awesome job. As far as the Superman trailer sounding great.....meh. I am biased because I am one of those, "Superman and Star Wars are the greatest scored movies of all time" folks. It's going to be hard to watch it with an open mind, especially without the "Superman theme"

Nice ...and especially so considering the format it will go into.
