Logical to upgrade from X2 Producer -> X3 Studio ?

Already have :
- Dim Pro Full
- Rapture Full
- AAS Lounge Lizard Full
- AAS Strum Acoustic Full
- TruePianos Full

Already have Pro Channels from X1/X2 :
- CA-2A Leveling Amp / PC2ALeveling Amp
- PC4K Channel Comp.
- PC4k Gate
- Concrete Limiter

Don't need :
- XLN Audio Addictive Drums : already invested in BFD2 + many libraries
- TH2 : never use it since X2, invested in GR5 Full

My only questions are the Boutique Suite :

Are there any changes since X2 ?
Can I get these to function, from my X2 installation ?

- PX-64 Percussion Strip
- VX-64 Vocal Strip
- TL-64 Tube Leveler
- TS-64 Transient Shaper

Thanks!

Albert

Anything from X2 will function in X3, I do not believe details for any changes to the boutique suite (or any plug-ins) are available.

The things you will lose in this upgrade path are:

    ProChannel Tape Sim
    Flyout QuadCurve EQ
Apparently the Console Emulators according to the Comparison,
Don't know if the ones in X2 will work in X3...would think so, but
    don't know for sure..
    Addictive Drums
    AAS Strum Acoustic Sonar
You only get the LE Versions of Dim Pro and Rapture..which you
probably already have the full ones..
Some TH2 Tones, which you probably already have from X2
I believe the Boutique Suite is the Blue Tubes, which is included...

So, if you can live without those, you'd save $50....
Personally, I'm waiting for the bugs to clear and
a sale....there's nothing in this upgrade that I can't live
without right now,...and they may throw some more "bones" at us...
X2 is working fine...I can wait...

There's a saying "Good things come to those who wait"  I'm testing that phrase...
Plus, the better Video isn't coming till the C patch from what I've read...so I'll
be waiting for that as well, unless there is SALE before that gets released...

Ok, you can start throwing things now...

    Thanks scook. Totally agree cclarry.

X3 Pro with add-on seems good for new users. But season users would have many of those add-on already, most already upgraded these LEs.

A stripped down version of a standard X3 for us to pick and choose what to add-on would be really use full.
