Help! Panning Issue....

[UPDATE] I panned every track to the far right and listened with my head phones, music is predominately right, but the left channel has faint decibels of drums still; why is that. should the left channel be empty?

Hello,

Weirdest thing, panning does nothing, and I cannot figure out what I have done to cause this.

For example I wanted my shake track all the way to the right, but when I turn the panning nob left or right it makes no difference from my speakers. It's like it is being forced into the center.

Anyone else had this issue?

Thank you for your help :)

Perhaps you have entered offset mode. The O key toggles this mode.

In offset mode, you can alter your real settings by degrees. So if you have a track panned all the way right, you enter offset mode and twist the pan all the way left, the result will be your track will appear centered.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

Sending to a bus with a reverb or other stereo FX on it? Poor analog separation in your interface -what is it?

Thank you I'll check that now, after doing some more research I don't think I fully understood how tracking and mixing in mono then sending to stereo auxs worked. I'm going back to the source files and make sure they are in the stereo filed correctly. I'm sure i'll figure it out. Certain things like this are odly difficult for me :)

Thank you for your reply.

No, it is not an analog issue, tracking session drummer as mono tracks. then I clicked off the interleave stereo button, then made sure all plugins were mono; then I outputted to the master drum bus. Then I created sends from the mono tracks to aux buses with the stereo interleave on and used stereo plugins then outputted to the master drum bus. I was hoping to have a blend of mono and stereo tracks in the drum master.

Somewhere along the line I screwed up. I'll backtrack to the beginning and make a flow chart and see if everything is panning correctly before I start bouncing tracks to audio.
