Recording Step Sequencer Pattern in MIDI Track

I've been watching the YouTube video on creating Drum Tracks with Session Drummer.  The presenter uses the Step Sequencer to create a pattern and it shows up on his MIDI track.
 
I can create a pattern with the Step Sequencer and it plays properly when I click play on the main transport control.  But I don't see anything in the track.  I can't treat it like a groove clip because there's nothing to click on the replicate.
 
Suggestions please?

    If you use a drum map with Step Sequencer, it will appear sometimes to be an empty clip, but what is happening is that it is putting a new empty clip on top of the one you had earlier.  It has to do with where you are double-clicking on the clip, if I understand your issue correctly.
     
    I think if you double click way over at the right side (might even be upper right side) of the clip, I think it will open properly.  I think some folks may have reported double clicking again also may end up displaying the populated clip, too.

    Thanks, Bob.  I don't know if I was looking in the wrong place before but this morning I can see the two clips in Track 14 of the drum setup.
    However, I now have a new problem.  I've created two clips for the intro, one bar each.  I want to create a new pattern but any change I make to the step sequencer changes the second (last) clip I created.  I've researched the documentation but can't instructions that tell Sonar to leave the last clip alone and start a new one.

    Also, it is generally better if you separate individual issues into separate threads.  It can get confusing when multiple issues are all lumped into a single thread, and folks searching for solutions for similar problems will find it much easier to match up potential solutions when they are searching, if things are nice and separated.  There is certainly no forum requirement to do this - it is just my opinion that this would help things all around.
