Eli..I'm sure you figured this, but I don't think any of mentioning a lot covers the same ground was meant as a disappointment. I think it's fairly obvious you are being thorough. It makes sense to have each series cover the program completely since not all users have watched the X1 and X2 series. Looking forward to the tips and tricks. BTW, do you do the Logic videos? I have to learn Logic and I am totally lost. Hate it so far.

A friend of mine races. His training taught, "If you're not crashing, you're not racing!" They teach you how to eject the bike, how to roll or slide, and hopefully not be killed by yours or another bike....or that $@% turtle. Anyway, glad you survived, Karl! Now go do it again! I bought the vid because it's strictly about what's new. I like that. Plus, can't pass up the Brit accent!

Hey dubdisciple, Been talking with my publishers and I am currently working on some additional X3 videos that will be coming very soon. It won't be a tips and tricks title, but a short offering looking at some of the new X3 features specifically. I think some users are disappointed that I didn't cover more of the new X3 features in the Explained series. An "Explained" title can't be all things to everyone in four hours! But it is my job to fit as much in as I can. Having said that though, to be perfectly honest, some of the new features were not fully stable in the beta version I was using on my system at the time I was doing the videos. So that posed some limitations. Anyway, I think the new videos I am working on will tie things up nicely. Sorry to hear you are struggling with Logic. Yes, I do Logic videos at groove3. In fact I have three series done on Logic Pro X already. Plus there are another two from my colleague Doug Zangar that are excellent. Eli

Hi Karl, I'm glad to hear that you're doing better and would like to offer you my best wishes for the most complete recovery possible. I have your X2 video and really enjoy your calm explanations and your approach. I do have a question: From the site, it looks like I'll only be able to view the new tutorial on my iPad or other Apple product, but not on my PC. Do I understand that correctly? I'll probably buy it anyway, but I'd prefer to be able to watch on my PC with Sonar open on my second screen. Thanks and keep up the recovery, LJ

Hi there and thanks for the support. You'll be pleased to know that the new video can be watched on PC as well as portable devices. I believe this one is delivered in chapters though rather than one long video.

One more quick question (sorry), I can log in fine from my PC and the download went great. Now, I'm going out and want to view the video on my iPad. But there seems to be no way to log in to the site from the iPad. The grey menu bar that you use to view your account, log in, etc. is missing from both the full-sized and mini iPads. All I can do is to create an account, but of course it tells me that that account has already been created. Would you know how I could log in so I could download? Sorry to be a pest, LJ

The login is accessed via the menu at the top of the page, unfortunately the menu is flashed based which is not supported by iDevices (iPad,iPhone etc). We are looking to update this menu, hopefully we can get to that soon. Cheers, Chris Hawkins Streamworks Audio

I should add that you can add the video to iTunes (which is imported as a TV Show) then sync it to your iPad with no problems. Cheers, Chris Streamworks Audio

Thank you for taking the time to answer, Chris Hawkins; I'll do it through iTunes then. Thanks again, Karl, for getting me the answer and to VariousArtist for starting this thread.

I have the SWA Sonar X02 Complete videos. Was the best money I spent. It takes a while to get used to your accent, but after a while its no problem. The one word you use I cannot figure out. It sounds like ZED. If I can find it again I will post the video and time. Well worth the money and very well done. Thanks for your great work.

Thanks for the props. The word might just be ZED as I use an Allen & Heath ZED-R16 as my main interface which I refer to as ZED whenever I mention it. For anyone else looking for the new X3 video it is now available from the Cakewalk store here or direct from SWA
