Are you using a combination of VST3 (any) followed by a UAD plug?

That is a known bug and Noel stated last night he has a solution.

What is the content of these projects?  What/How many effects? Driver modes?

I am working on a project from X2 and so far it has been a major crash fest;  I am guaranteed to crash at some point during my session without fail.  I am now thinking I should have stuck with X2 since I can't use X3 in its current form.

I get crashes almost every time with UAD, but I am not sure (since I am not near my computer at the moment) if my UAD crashes are related to the VST 3 / 2 thing as mentioned by Noel and above.

I know we are working with UA to fix this issue.

The UAD crash has been reproduced successfully and we are aware of it. Can you confirm that it's happening in the same manner as this post?

Also if you have crashes make sure you submit crash dumps and list the CWBRN numbers so we can identify your report.

I also had severals crashes managing X2 projects. If i simply click any part of console bus section, X3 crashes. Sonar sent the crash report automatically everytime.

    Hi Noel.
Strange that everytime a new version just came out, and people are reporting crashes right away.
I am pretty sure that people who are reporting crashes don't feel that good about reporting either. If I were to do that, I would feel like I am a party pooper.
So for a while now, I have been thinking about this.
That is Cakewalk might want to publish the specs of the types of PCs that you all use over there while testing the new version.
If that is what you use that doesn't crash, then anyone who buys or builds a computer just like that shouldn't experience any crash either.  Right?
One thing going for Apple is that there is only 1 machine to deal with, but on the PC side, there are so many combinations of hardware that we have to deal with.
So there it is, what do you all think?
