Does scook work for cakewalk support? Out of curiosity, who in the forum here do actually work for cakewalk - I'd personally like to see (as a policy) in their signature posts if they do, they should have something like "Employee of cakewalk" and optionally to include their title.. Cheers and keep up the good work.

I must agree...
Scook is always one of the first people to jump in with solid assistance. Always without judgment and always with good, informative advice.
There are a few others on this forum who also manage this and I thank them as well... I'm sure we all know who they are if we've been using this forum for much time!
My thanks to scook and all the others!

I really appreciate everyone here. Well, at least those not selling kitchen cupboards. But scook is something special. I've wondered many times where he gets his profound knowledge of just about everything from little details, obscure settings and where all the files are hidden. I've figured he must be a DAW teacher or something (or even an ex-sonar employee) to so easily remember all he does about Sonar and provide it with his calm voice of authority.

I haven't been on here long enough to get a feel for all members, but my, there is a lot of love in this thread! I'm very happy that this forum seems to be stuffed with knowledgeable members. I've already found a lot of good info, links, references, and interesting discussion/disagreements. I'm not free of making the odd sarcastic comment myself, but hopefully nothing too bad. This is a great place!
Btw also great respect for Cakewalk's own presence on here, that really adds to their credibility and the value of the forum as a whole.

dubdisciple I don't know him personally, but I think it's pretty cool that he seems to jump in with the right answer or workaround so frequently. I have noticed that no matter what part of the forum i go to, he seems to chime in with a useful answer or resource. More importantly he does it without the bitter arguing or need to make the OP look like an idiot for asking. His answers have helped me a lot and just wanted to say thanks.

Scook will always be the "king of the one-line answers" for me. I have had several occasions where I get into a long-winded response and by the time I post, his answer is already there! Thank you for all you have done! ... and thanks to all the others in this thread as well... many of the names are very familiar now, and I very much respect your inputs and candor. In the past three months I have learned more from reading posts from all of you guys than I would ever have learned just "playing with X3."

And +1 for scook being a frequent responder with succinct helpful comments.

Firstly, Mr scook, I thank you for all of your input. It’s been very much appreciated by myself and many others. JimmyBoy Does scook work for cakewalk support? Out of curiosity, who in the forum here do actually work for cakewalk - I'd personally like to see (as a policy) in their signature posts if they do, they should have something like "Employee of cakewalk" and optionally to include their title.. Think of it, why wouldn't cake use a pseudonym where they can answer questions? And avoiding getting cough up in the politics of it all. Bristol_Jonesey All Cakewalk Employees have the word [Cakewalk] appended to their user name.
Really? Have you any empirical evidence? It would be a waste of a dam good pseudonym if you appended [Cakewalk] after it lol scook,S is for Sonar, Cook is for Baker,What do you get?..............Sonar baker [The truth is out there waiting to be found] So, am I adding 2 + 2 here and getting 876246752457657? Possibly so, but you all must admit it’s a very intriguing thought. Good wishes to one and all
I have empirical evidence this is true... (Bender told me!)
