I wanted to get XL but also want Jamcussion but it seems more cost effective to go the whole hog and get Studio.
That's what I ended up doing. Getting the starter pak (Jamstix3), learning it, then got the Studio pack upgrade on sale. I only recently added some of the other expansion paks. I think I only lack two.
