Noel - having the fix ready and in place for Sonar X3c is very much appreciated!  Thanks for getting it in.   PodFarm is a workhorse for me so I'm glad it's working properly.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Thanks a lot Noel.

I see you have also fixed the mono/stereo interleave issue (see post 54).

Might need to dust off the workaround

Well, at least there's a workaround...

This is unfortunate, but at least the issue will need to be solved at Line 6's end where it (apparently) should have been.

I hope Noel will chime in and clarify things.

My guess is that the main issue from my first posts will still be still be solved and that the problem is the mono/stereo interleave issue Noel talks about in post 54.
But I could be wrong.

I believe you will have to revert to the workaround to force stereo operation. When you patch a plugin SONAR first tries mono and then finally sets it to stereo on a stereo track. It is the state transition that goes to mono first that this plugin misbehaves with.
I passed it on to Line 6 with a full description of the issue. However they are probably afraid of fixing it in case it breaks other hosts :) Chicken and egg.

Thanks a lot Noel, let`s hope Line 6 will fix, but as others have mentioned, at least we have a workaround.

X2 didn't support VST3, which requires a more rigorous handling of mono plug-ins. At least that seems to be the difference, based on Noel's comments in post #28.
