X3D - Song position pointer does not work correctly when using mouse

Why is it that I feel like I am paying to be a beta tester for this product??!!??

Standard functions should work smooth. Isn't anyone actually using SONAR before putting out fixes to ensure there is no regression to basic functions like song position pointer smoothness?
 
When using a mouse during project playback, the song position pointer in the timeline freezes and will eventually catch up, but is performing horribly. As long as the mouse moves, the song position pointer does not advance as it should during playback.

    I notice you are using a UFX. Are you using firwire or USB?  I ask because I have been having issues with my UFX (sluggish graphics, pops and clicks) and just narrowed it down to a UFX/firewire thing.  Using USB everything works great.  See here:

    thanks for the reply, I am using the USB interface here too with the UFX. I listed that in my profile. X3D is a step backwards performance wise I believe. I may be reverting to X3C until X3E maybe??

    Hmm.  Interesting.  But still may not be a coincidence that three of us using UFX are writing about performance issues with X3d

    Everything was fine in X3C performance and sound-wise or I would have reported it. ;)

    @48/24 & 128 buffers latency is 367 with offset of 38.

    I did a forum search on song position pointer and now time that gave me no results. I will add that to the referenced thread to help others. thanks Alex
