Guys - let's leave this thread to the purpose for it being written.  We are ALL damaged goods in some manner, and we all have our ways of getting under each other's skins.  Ask either of my ex wives, they have lengthy lists, as well as apparently videos..... (yikes).  Let's just leave things be at this point.

@Keni - I WISH I had my 8.5.3 discs - I lost my Sonar 8 discs, and 8.5.3 wouldn't install without 8 being present first.  SO, gone forever, on my system.

It sounds like folks are trying to help figure this whole thing out for you, so I am glad for that.

@Keni, re. the OP.

I agree with some of the posts here that there are bound to be some oddities when importing projects from Pre PC versions of Sonar.

I would have thought it would have loaded the default track and bus plugs, but perhaps the way tracks and busses were coded is different now, and this throws a curved ball to X3.

Also, like mettelus,  if I advance a project through versions of Sonar, I immediately save it with the version number/name in the title, so I know "what was edited where".  Some have moved through three or four versions, with no major issues so far.

I found the old Javier Colon project, which i believe was an 8.53 project (maybe older) and it places the bus console emulator on each track.

The Javier Colon demo is new; it was produced in X3 with console emulators added deliberately. But I'm not seeing any bus emulators on tracks. The channel emulators have a trim control where bus emulators don't.
