Screensets series?

Hi all,

Just starting to explore Screensets are finding the potential to be awesome!

Since I am also finding the possibilities almost endless, I see that there could be lots of lost time by not making efficient set of screensets.

So I am calling on the community to share how they best have created their own series of Screensets (I did search the forum and YouTube but little luck).

Thanks in advance,
Super Newbie

I can't find it right now, but search for FastBikerBoy (Karl) on this site.  He is awesome, and posted a big list of all the screensets he uses and how he sets them up.  It was a fantastic post and really opened my eyes to some of the possibilities.

Thanks for the mentions....

I have modified several of mine since those videos. I find they constantly evolve and now that there is autozoom some of them such as the "Sends" screenset are even more useful.

If I can get round to it I'll upload a blank two track project with my current crop to a cloud somewhere and then link it here.

As you are discovering the possibilities are almost endless and I'm sure I'm not the only one taking advantage of that. I'm also sure some of mine will be of no use to others at all as there are many different work flows. But the ideas are there for what they are worth.

I think it's not so much using your Screensets, but it will open a non users vision to the capabilities of the Sonar workflow feature.

Screensets was the key feature that made me want to upgrade to an X version of Sonar. Previously there was too much opening and closing of different windows.

One particularly useful screenset that I use in all my projects involves having all the Piano Roll Views for every softsynths all in one place for easy access. It takes a bit of setting up but it's well worth the trouble. Undock the MultiDock and move it to a different screen (I'm assuming that you have more than one screen). Click on a midi track and open PRV for for that track. Dock it to the MultiDock and lock the contents. Click on another midi track, open PRV and add this to the MultiDock. Continue adding PRVs until all of them are in the MultiDock. Don't forget to lock contents each time, otherwise the current PRV will disappear when you add the next one.
