Hi,

Covers?

Ides of March (1st Album) - Eleanor Rigby

Esperanto (Last Tango) 0 Eleanor Rigby

Manfred Mann's Earth Band - Blinded by the Light (for that matter Father of Day, Father of Night and Oh, Carol)

Stackridge (Mr. Mick) -- Can't even remember which Beatles song was there!

Dream Theater and Queensryche together - Who Are You (was one of the encores in their tour)

Todd Rungren - A True Star -- This side of his album is all "hits".

Frankie Goes to Hollywood -- War (same album has On the Way to San Jose)(I wanna see Strummy play guitar in that album, specialaly Two Tribes and let him go nutz)

Hawkwind -- Gimme Shelter

Ange - a couple of Jacques Brel songs! (Had to see how much listening folks here actually do!)

David Bowie - More than once he did Kurt Weill's stuff

Strummy ... I need a favor ... I need to find Roger Ruskin Spear's Unusual album (only have it on tape) and The Goons Vol 30 which the providers over there won't ship to America. I can either send you the moolah, or any music you want.

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

I can't find Unusual on CD, only (used) vinyl on Ebay for £20 ($33) HERE.

I also found it for you on US Ebay HERE at the much better price of $25.

I can't find The Goon Show Vol 30 on sale anywhere at the moment, even the BBC site redirects to Amazon, which says it is currently unavailable, although there is the option to download the album HERE.

I'll happily check for you every now and again to see if it pops up on Ebay.

If you have already spotted them on sale over here, let me have the links and I'll take a look for you.

Here's another interesting cover from the TV series Sons of Anarchy. Somewhat different, but might appeal to some. Beautiful version if you can appreciate it.
