uh, whacha got?

A TX-802 (rack mount DX7, basically)
Three Korg M3R units (sort of a M1 junior rack mount) with a bunch of expansion cards
A Kurzweil SX-1000 string module (that doesn't sound at all well ... probably beyond hope, that one)
A Roland D550 junior (don't recall the name - maybe D220?; in any case, it's a scaled down D50 rack mount type sound generator)
An entry level 16-channel mixer
An E-mu MIDI controller keyboard (this one is about five years old)

Apart from the Kurzweil, I haven't tested these things for ages.  Some of them might be non-functional.

Did I ever tell any of you guys that I have a '76 Alembic Series I bass that I got for $700 and my Rick 4001 (picked it up 1976).

Technically I was the third owner. A father bought it for his son to learn on. It was too big (long scale) and they sold it to his teacher who immediately put in the paper and I got it.

Never really seen another bass that color, as the Fireglo is much redder, and people tried to tell me it was that...or something similar.  This is like a Les Paul tobacco burst... the pic shows the colors pretty close.

78 would be either Walnut (gloss) or Autumnglo (matte). Montezuma Brown was a color of the year special order in 2003.

Yes, I stand corrected with regards to my post above:

All my Rics are Maple Glo. I knew I heard of Montezuma Brown but didn't realize it was just a color of the year. :-)

Boyers book states that Autumnglo and Walnut were produced from mid 1960 to 1985. The shades varied greatly throughout the 70's. In the late 70's both Autumnglo and Walnut were listed as custom colors, both looked very similar, but Autumnglo was a matte finish and Walnut a glossy finish.

Rickenbackers return to a brown burst finish was in 2003, now called Montezuma as color of the year. They fulfilled orders on this color through 2006.

thx Mike... I guess this is a Walnut, as it is very glossy.

Have you decided?
Is $301 the selling price?

That is a beautiful color on that bass MixMkr.

Mike, nice Mapleglo's! My very first electric was a 1963 Rick 330, Fireglo, toaster pick ups. My mother bought it for me $200 used from the original owner. That one fell in the category of, "what one piece of gear do you regret selling".

Apart from the Kurzweil, I haven't tested these things for ages.  Some of them might be non-functional.

I went to Guitar Center and bought a used Roland D-550 rack and had it shipped store to store.  2 weeks later I get a call and the Guitar Center had sold it.  took me 2 weeks to get my money back.

I'd be interested depending on price in your Korg M3R racks and your Roland rack (depending on which model) if your serious shoot me a message.
