Definitely an uplifting piece.  The chorusy guitar reminded me of some music from the old video game Starcraft (which I always felt had kind of a "David Gilmour" feel, but then Gilmour kinda owns the chorusy strat sounds genre).

Nice work guys, on playing and mixing, and end-results too.

Thanks Walt! I've been a sucker for that clean, chorusey sound since I heard Andy Summers with The Police.

Thanks Daryl. Well, I'm about halfway through writing the tunes, so it'll be a while yet. Hadn't thought about selling it..hmm..

Sorry I missed this,

when I listened on the computer speakers, the drums were barely audible. The other elements seemed to sit nicely.
Then I put the phones on and heard more of the nuances. (sounds a tiny bit like it was mixed by the guitarist ;-)
I may also pull that shaker back "just a weence" I can hear it very clearly over the other percussion and drums (which both need to come up a bit) There's some other sort of brush hitting a drum that feels a little up in the mix to me.
I like the overall tune.

Sittin downtown in a railway station one toke over the line.

Thanks Robby. After the ten thousandth time of listening, yes, you could be right about the percussion. All these tunes will get re-mixed/mastered when I've got 'em all assembled, so I'm taking notes.

BTW - watch out for the next one, featuring Mr Wilkinson

Very nice, guys. Lovely tone on the guitar. No surprise there. I kind of like the shaker. It adds a little 'happy" to an already inviting vibe.
