Melodyne tempo grid strays from global grid

Hi forum!

I never noticed this before (I've used Melodyne Editor a lot since X3 came out), but in this one project I encoded the whole bass track, and while Melodyne has interpreted the tempo correctly (fixed at 130 bpm) the tempo grid is gradually lagging behind the beat during the course of the song (it's spot on at the beginning)! At the end (measure 125, ~3:48 mins) it's almost exactly one 8th of a note behind!

Is this a known bug in either ARA or SONAR's implementation of it?

Sven

Went in and checked other projects by encoding long clips and it seems to happen every time now! Is it possible this has started happening since X3D? Figure I would've noticed it earlier if not! I've never used "quantise" inside Melodyne, but it would be completely broken if this bug is widespread.

Any indication Cake's aware of this (I'm obviously useless searching this forum)?

Yes its a bug (a rounding error in the musical time to sample conversion math).
    It is fixed in X3E.
