Thanks Gus, you didn't have to do that. I sometimes bust balls too quickly, you clearly commented on many things as well as posting your own good music, I apologize for jumping the gun, it was uncalled for. Again, sincere apologies, I'm glad you listened to my offering. I do orchestra too? Orchestra is non-trivial... The orchestra requires discipline... It's not for the faint of heart. Orchestra commands your full attention, she's a fickle mistress...

No no, I took it in all good fun, as I'm sure it was intended. I'm new to the orchestra. Have mainly produced rock/metal songs. But I now see my future with other types of stringed instruments. I'm interested in heating your orchestral works.

Sounds awesome Robby!  I didn't hear the versions leading up to this but this mix sounds great.  The buildup right before the end was great, the drums included!

Awesome job and gratz on getting your DAW back

Thanks Mike, (they sucked?) But like a broke clock is right twice a day? I can swerve in to a good mix now and then

And yes, not having the ability to record/mix after having it for many years is legitimate torture... They've banned it at Gitmow? It was considered cruel and unusual...

I got both my pre-amps up and working today and plugged in through the sound card set up for a mid/side guitar recording :-) Getting ready to record some acoustic guitar. (you've got to love that technique... a nice condenser (vocal mic) in a figure 8 pattern turned on its side? With a nice small diaphragm condenser (shotgun) just underneath with the set pointed at the O-Hole...

Now I need to practice? Practice sucks... *Wish I could MIDI the guitars... I need to hire some hot chick with tube tops who are willing to "uplift" my spirits? While I'm laying it down (that always helps get my "spirits" up?)  But never enough blood left for the fingers.

(I'm sorry for that right there Lord.)

P.S., does anyone know any hot chicks with tube tops?

Your DAW sounds a lot like CSN and Steve Stills, in particular?  I don't remember how many times I've listened to this song on headphones back in the day?  Maybe 49 times?  At least?  I like the way you've added your own touches to it to make it seem like your own?  Make sure to back this song up because you may want to repost it someday?

All the best,
Lynn

Glad you got the DAW back - this pretty much nails the sound.  Tight enough - just like real music.  Really great harmonies.  You are going to have to add another name to yours and then go by the abbreviation.

Too cool, thanks Lynn? I'm glad you remember this one... It's one of my all time favorites? Which is why I took the time to cover it so meticulously? The fact that you (and others) enjoyed it is what keeps me going :-) Thank you sir!

The coolest thing that's happened to me in some time is, I had my son and had him in the studio, and had him listening? And I recited him as a sound engineer :-)

I sat him down in the pilot's chair? And showed him, how to arm a track to record, <cntl Z> to undo? Showed him how comping works? Good times :-) He learned how to crop vocal takes? He's a smart boy...
