Just a short word of thanks to all.

I have learned so much since joining this forum 6 months ago. Mostly from people who don't know they have helped me.

The tuturials, patches, hints, workarounds, computer related fixes and info, reviews on just about everything related to our world, to fixing our love life's. OK. Maybe you guys wrecked the last one with my late hours pouring over all the info contained within!!

I've upgraded through Cakewalk home studio, MC3, 5 and 6 touch. X1, X2 and now X3. I've built a sound proof recording 'booth' and a control room, and a new DAW machine, just for X3. A lot of the preparation in what I have done, is based on what I have learnt here. I'm half way through producing my first album, and it's really starting to come together.

My thanks to one and all for not only the help you have given, but the massive collective time that is put in this forum.

And to the bakers and cakewalk staff. The latest and greatest X3 is simply awesome. Value for money is exceptional. Thank you.

Dave.

IMHO this forum is one of Cakewalk's greatest strengths. There's a huge wealth of knowledge and experience to tap into and although I didn't join until after I'd been using Sonar for several years, I've learned a whole load from this great resource. Long may it continue.

Agreed! I'm one of those silent members who has also learned so much from the members. I'm equally grateful!

I started on this back in "96 when it was a newsgroup.

I thought I knew something about recording, but had no idea how much work really went into this. I knew nothing about recording on a PC. Most of what I know has come from people here. The links to other sites, the videos, but mostly the time others have given to explain things in laymen terms.

I frequent this place a lot. Post some. Mostly read and learn.

Again I state as I have many times, this forum (newsgroup) is responsible for me using CW products. What I didn't know at the time was how much I was to learn!!

    Thanks to all!!

Couldn't agree more. This was also the first forum where I became a member. There was a newsgroup before that.

Move over Disney... the Cakewalk Forum is now the happiest place on earth!

Seriously though... Cakewalk has done a great job to provide a place for open discussion.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

Its threads like this that mean so much. Far beyond the words used or the number of posts in agreement. I think we all appreciate a word of thanks from time to time. But sometimes a really heartfelt thanks just hits home.

    This.
I still remember bringing home Sonar Home Studio 4. I figured it's just sound, how hard can it be, right?
    Right.
