sonarx3 rewire and melodyne. need help

Need some help here. I just upgraded from X1 Studio to X3 Producer. I downloaded Melodyn, but I can not access it. I am no longer seeing the Rewire option available. (it is greyed out). I am running 64bit version of X3. I deleted and re downloaded Melodyn a couple of times. Both selecting 32 and 64 bit options and then 32 and 64 options separately. I'm glad that I still have V-Vocal, but I would like to use Melodyne. Any help would be appreciated. If I posted in the wrong forum, sorry. Thanks

Win 7 Dell intel Core i3, 2.40 ghz, 6gb RAM, 64bit OS, Sonar X3-Producer, M-Audio Fast Track, Nady SMPS-1X Condensor Mic.

The better/most effective way to use Melodyne in SONAR XNx is to use Regions.  Select the region or clip (if it's not too long) and then go to Region FX drop down menu at the top left of the Track Pane.  There you can select Melodyne and the clip will automatically open in Melodyne.

BTW, you might find help in the SONAR X series forum just above this one.

    Kind regards,

P.S. You may have to update SONAR X3 to X3e. Rewire was not compatible with x64 until rather recently.

    Kind regards, Living Room Rocker

Thanks to all, but it still has not been resolved. Last I was told by a Cakewalk Tech (who remotely connected to my system) was that they need to check with Melodyne and it may be a system issue. Rocker- I have tried all of the above. Melodyne does not appear in region effect. I'm not sure what the system issue may be. I have upgraded from Sonar 7 to X1 Studio with no problems. Once I upgraded to X3 producer I began having this issue. One of the many reasons I upgraded to X3 producer was for Melodyne. Now I am still using V-Vocal. Still waiting for word back from Cakewalk.

The more reason to take the problem to the X-series forum from this legacy forum :o)

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.
