[Resolved] cannot alter chord symbol in staff view

Hello all-

I am trying to alter chord symbols in staff view, but no matter what I do I cannot get rid of the existing chord symbol. I can add one that superimposes itself over the old one, but if I right-click on the old symbol, the box that should pop up with that symbol in it and lets you change it is empty.

I only have one layer...I did have multiples, but bounced to a single clip.

I'm going into event view and deleting the chords there. That allows me to add a new one...but what a pain!

You mean the whole drop down box is empty or just the chord selection list part of the drop down box? Can you post a screenshot?

The drop down box to the right of where is says "Name:" was empty. Usually it contains the chord that you right-clicked on. I didn't try to  "drop it down", and so do not know if the long list of chords was there, and now I cannot reproduce the problem. I got rid of most of the problem chords in event view, and to tell the truth I think the problem went a way when I restarted my computer (not just restarted X2, which was the first thing I tried).

If it happens again, I'll come with hat in hand to the forum again :). I will be upgrading to X3 pretty soon...maybe that will help.

    Thanks for the reply, heydan.
