soens OK. Downloaded (3rd time @25 min.) but won't install. Says can't find the .msi file. It's there but won't work. Can't install.
Does it say where it's looking for the .msi file? If so, maybe you can just move the file there? An alternate solution might be to just double-click on the .msi file itself ("msi" stands for MicroSoft Installer").

Well, apparently... "I" have no brain, so it really IS. I'm gonna try it on my XP 32 bit system and see what happens.

It has successfully installed on my XP 32 bit system. It says it is incompatible with my Win7 64 bit system. OK, I know it's only 32 bit but shudn't one be able to install it under (x86) anyway? Harrison sez it shud, but it won't.

I use Win7 64. I installed the activation key on the desktop and opened install file (as admin. and for all users) - activation key disappeared, as they say it would, and it installed. It worked with no issues. I previously mentioned what I thought about it but I didn't mention my comment was for using it for recording projects. I think it's going to be cool to use it for importing projects (stems) or projects (two-tracks) from X3. It does have a great sound as is and for the money...it's a steal. I was sure hesitant to install it because my DAW is amazing so I did do a system image first.

Got it working on the Win7 system finally. Yay! Had to move all the files to one folder and run install from there. Now for some fun.

The Flash Sale shows up at 69 USD. Mebbe I should move to England, roight? I'll look again... OK, I found the other link and the 10 dollar deal. Now they are sure to get 29.95 out of me. I will hold out until tomorrow or Saturday... it will make me feel better. I hope it does offer a decent upgrade path to V3. I've really been trying to stay 64bit. QUESTIONS: Can I work in 64bit X3 and export to Mixbus or would that just be stupid. I am a little confused. Can you record audio tracks in Mixbus, then export them to Sonar and retain the Harrison sound? I am not familiar with JACK but if I understand, I can use it to gain the ability to work with MIDI in Mixbus. Is it sort of like Audiobus in IOS, a program that links different programs together? Too much to read, too easy to ask, and.. if it is simple to answer, please do. I do have 32bit plugs, some installed, some not so that really isn't a problem, unless it becomes a problem if I try to work in both MB and X3... and I am confused about the order in which I would work using both MB and X3. I mean, what if I record in X3 using 64bit plugs on tracks, then export to Mixbus to mix then back to Sonar to master... ??does that make sense? Would it retain the advantage of the Harrison sound? .. or does it make more sense to track and mix dry tracks in Mixbus and then export to X3? ... or is it better to use one or the other and hope for an upgrade path? Sorry I am so ignorant about this and I truly am thankful, I don't need much, just the basics. I really feel like I will be kicking myself if I pass on this deal but on the other hand I wonder if it is something I will even use. I guess for the price it isn't much of a risk. I am a sucker for "no-brainers. OH! It is time for my meds.... I think I'll take and extra. ZING... J

Well, not so fast. After only a few minutes of using MixBus my audio has tanked. Everything I play in MixBus, Sonar, Windows Media Player, and everything else sounds like its coming from the bottom of a swimming pool. Massive wavy reverb/echoing going on. This is from the onboard sound card AND the outboard MOTU. I uninstalled MixBus and restored the system to the day before installation but it did NOT change anything. What Is Going On??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Is there a common piece of hardware/software that controls ALL audio no mater what card you're using?

OK so I am not at all clear on this. Even at 10.00 US, I probably already have a ton of effects. Does Mixbus not use standard VST plugs?

bapu Yes, but 3.0 will be out soon and it expected to be 64bit. Who knows, maybe if you buy now you'll get 3.0 at no cost.
I expect not. That is why they are selling the 32 bit version for peanuts. The 64 bit upgrade is the money shot.

Whoever put the vid together needs a poke in the eye for using a Queen tribute band pic instead of the real band..
