Okey dokey, I've had a quick play in Photoshop Elements 11

Came up with this in just a few minutes:

Using one of the constituent images as a base, you have to copy and paste (or drag) each of the images on top of it. So in effect, each 'frame' of the final animation starts out as a separate layer.

Once you've got them all in the correct order and resized if necessary, select File>Save for Web (or hit Alt+Shift+Ctrl+S):

In the window that opens, make sure to set GIF as the file type and then check the Animate option.

Is that a 45 rpm or a 33?
(Even I can tell it's not 78!)

Robert Schroeder's first album on the IC (Klaus Schulze label) was playable (both sides!!!!) in both 33RPM and 45RPM. The slow one was very heavy and far out teutonic stuff complete with the cavernous stage settings for your mind from Beyruth. The faster one, was not half as good, and in fact was almost non-descript and not as interesting!

That picture is about 40RPM is my guess, and unfortunately has no music in it!

Hi,

To add to this thread, and not take it away from the photographic stuff ... the first time I heard Terje Rypdal, was right after I saw an advert in Melody Maker for "Terje Rypdal's Odyssey" and "Ash Ra Tempel", and the first chance I walked into Moby Disk and got the album called "Odyssey" by Terje, which happened to have been from the ECM label. This was in 1975, btw.

I thought, then, that this was the spaciest guitar I had ever heard, as it was "distant" and kinda in the background, which gave a completely different feel to it. The album had a bit of a jazz feel to it, but I am not sure "jazz" fit what they were doing. The next album I caught of his was "EOS" which is by far one of the best guitar albums EVER done, and it is spacey, courtesy of David Darling's effects on his bass instrument. It was, and is, the best "chamber concert" you will EVER hear for electric guitar, and the feel is sort of like listening to Jimi Hendrix by himself, kinda fooling around. Several pieces in there stand out, and for my mind, still is the "spaciest" album ever. That other guitar "god" was to copy this style in one of Roger Water's albums 20 years later!

BTW, Terje uses/used a Fender!
