Gonzalez woke up...only to wish he hadn’t. His head pounded like an audio engine’s motorboating when good drivers go bad.

Love that!

This thread has me in stitches. Craig, you are a very talented man, and some of those talents are clearly being wasted lol!!!

Dont want X4 yet, or even soon. Havn't got to the bottom of X3 yet, and it's way surpased any expectations I had. Yeh, it's got it's problems, but I've found a way around every one of them.

Not yet Cakewalk. Not ready for you.

I personally would be fine with X3 for a bit longer, but I want to see more advancements in X4, and more time spent in fixing some odd things in the Take Lanes, as well as making editing in Take Lanes more friendly. Cut/Copy and Paste in Take Lanes is still unpredictable, unfriendly, and inflexible. The only thing I can predict is that I WILL have issues with Copy and Paste in Take Lanes. It's not exactly buggy, no, it's just simply hard to work with.

Speed comping needs work in how the comp'ed takes are cross-faded/ blended. They're not. I've only found success in Speed comping with vocals (sometimes). I also have to routinely reference Fast Biker Boy's video on Speed comping because the process is still cumbersome unless you know the exact procedure.
