Ah, here's Robbie, as expected...

The BandNineTeen
I'm picturing Mel Gibson as Robert the Bruce... "Freedom?" I don't think so... Scotland "the brave?"...etc...

Gibson 'portrayed' William Wallace, not Robert the Bruce. By the way, Wallace was a Scots nobleman, one of those privileged people you despise, not a lowly farmer as depicted in the movie by the xenophobic drunken Australian. All those pitched battles with kilts (kilts didn't exist until the 17th Century btw, Walllace lived 400 years before that) and facepaint? Never happened. Except Stirling Bridge...and Gibson decided not to put a bridge in it...

And after voting to remain a puppet of the crown? ..etc...Congrats on voting to remain subjects

Again....The referendum had nothing to do with the monarchy, Liz would have still been Queen of Scots, 'Yes' or 'No'. Google 'Balmoral'.

Like I say, keep it about the music, 'cos anything else seems to get you all muddle-headed

+1 or more to everything above.   Everything it about it works really well.    And he does have a bit of that Gabriel whispery rasp, doesn't he.

James,

Great work, how did you get Peter Gabriel to record those vocals;)   Everything is done superbly.  It could be a bit louder but this must be the original mix, not the master?  Anyway, had a few listens through and really like it...

Regards

Thanks Mark, that's really nice of you.  Yes, I will get around to mastering this whole project one day. The nights are getting longer, so..
