Charge dropped against AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd
"The charge alleging an attempt to procure murder should never have been laid. The Crown Solicitor's opinion was not sought. The charge is now withdrawn, within 24 hours of Mr. Rudd's first appearance in court," Mabey said. "Mr. Rudd has suffered unnecessary and extremely damaging publicity as a result of widespread and sensational reporting of a very serious allegation, which on any basis was never justified."

Yeah he gives a sh!t

He must HATE this publicity.

The cops screwed up correct procedure but still have him on meth charges. He's been busted 4 drugs b4 and had to go to court for the right to travel abroad to play with acdc.

Entertainers never stop caring about publicity.
 
(One of the main reasons I knew I would never be able to be an entertainer or a top athlete for that matter.)
