[SOLVED] Console View: Should the Narrow/Wide Strip settings be saved in a Template?

**SOLVED** (see POST #3)

Hi guys, just a quickie for you.

I have a number of templates I regularly use when starting a project - they are all pre-bussed and have my most commonly used VST's and Pro Channel settings already inserted.

This is my "02 - Superior Drummer Metal" template loaded into a new project with the Console View selected:

As you can see, I've designed this particular template with some of the Track Strips set to 'Narrow', as this means everything fits neatly on my main screen.

However, whenever I open this template, or create a new project using this template, all the strips in the Console View have been reset to 'Wide':

Not a biggie, but is this expected behaviour, or should the X3 templates 'remember' the narrow/wide state of the strips?

Thanks in advance

Hi Steve. Just tested this on my system and width of strips is remembered here. I had a mix of wide and narrow.

Corrupt template perhaps?

Just a thought - check your screenset settings - don't try to make changes to a locked screenset without unlocking it first

LOL, it's the simple stuff that's often missed Col, and I am the master of that!

I've only recently started incorporating a few screensets into my workflow and I'd obviously forgotten about locking them all in my templates
