You do know about the Sysex view which can be included as part of a template?

I just noticed this post, that I think might be an answer to mine above. If so, I'll say that yes, I know about sysex view, and I use it pretty much. The problem is that you cannot really import whole setups into it, you can build a project template with all your sysex dumps importing them one by one, but that is not a very flexible way of working. Having track templates with sysex data would be much more flexible, IMHO. Anyway, Sonar is way better with sysex than most other DAWs.
