New i7 -How to get X3ePE, Melodyne Ed2, AD2 and all to it

I thought that Windows itself has a built-in utility to port software from one machine to another. I have never used it, but seem to recall seeing it a few times.

They can be on more than one PC, they allow it. Just did the same process myself. Just takes ages to do. AD2 and AKeys have to be re-downloaded, and that took over 24 hours with my download speed here.

I'm in same boat as OP having built a new i7.

The best way is using mklink with the /d or /j switch. The mklink command with /d or /j switch can be used to relocate just about anything. The actual name directory containing the samples does not matter. For example to relocate the "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples" folder to "F:\my sample folder\my Rapture samples" perform the following steps:
1) Using Windows Explorer move "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples" to "F:\my sample folder\my Rapture samples"
2) run cmd.exe as administrator and issue the following command at the c: prompt
mklink /j "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples" "F:\my sample folder\my Rapture samples"
 
I prefer to keep some of the directory structure similar to the C: drive so in my case I use S:\Cakewalk\Rapture\Mulitsamples as the actual location of my Rapture samples, S:\Cakewalk\DimPro\Multisamples for DimPro etc. Because, my sample drive contains samples from other vendors, the top folder is the vendor, Cakewalk, FXpansion, iZotope, Toontrack, etc. Then the second level is the application Rapture, DimPro, BFD Eco, Iris, Superior, etc. The lower levels correspond to the original folder layouts. This made it easy to move and link the original folders while retaining some notion of where the data came from when looking at the sample drive.

All my programs are on the C drive. My sample drive mostly contains samples (although for Rapture and other sfz synths, the sfz files are stored with the samples). In the case of Rapture, only the Multisample folder is relocated.
 
I physically moved "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples" to "S:\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples" by right-clicking the "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples" folder and dragging it to "S:\Cakewalk\Rapture" and selecting move from the context menu.
 
Then running cmd.exe as administrator issued the command
mklink /j "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples" "S:\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples"
This creates a directory junction called Multisamples in "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture" pointing to "S:\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples."
 
To Rapture the samples have not moved, the program still loads them from "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples", however; the OS actually reads the samples from "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples."
 

The C drive is accessed to read the directory junction. Once the OS resolves the directory junction, the data is retrieved from the drive the junction points to, in this case the sample drive. Using junctions has the added benefit of handling installers which don't read the registry for redirected multisample paths. Some of the expansion packs always install in the default locations. Because the default location still exist (but it redirected to another location), the data always ends up in the correct location.
