Quick pro channel question.

I have a master bus that I wish to utilize pro channel eq on. I noticed, when I slapped real time analyst in the fx bin, changing the eq affects the sound, but not the analyst. so , the question is , what is the default routing for master bus, and just how pre and post are the pre/post button settings? (pre everything, pre FX bin, etc.)

The pre/post button for PC means pre/post the FX bin.  There's nothing else can be said.

Thanks Karyn. Also thought of one other thing. Is there a way to add a second fx bin, or do I simply have to route the master to another bus, so I can put the analyst there, to see the total effect that fx and eq have on the mix?
I may be answering my own question, but I suppose if I don't want to do that, just expand the quad curve window and watch the analyzer in there? (that's assuming I put the eq post fx bin)

What I do is put that sort of metering in a separate bus and use a Send from the Master.

You can add multiple FX-chains to the ProChannel and put them anywhere you like in the signal flow.

thanks to all. I will experiment with both options + the one I mentioned. I just have a project that has a lot of activity going on spectral wise, and I 'm looking at things I might be able carve out to make things sit better. as usual, I know what I want to do, I just need to keep up with the ever present learning curve in Sonar.
