Cakewalk SoundCenter problem

Hello everyone. I haven't seen any post about Cakewalk Sound Factory library not working in Platinum. I've lost all of my sounds I paid for. I bought nearly all the sounds available so I'm not happy at all that I can't use them. I called CW and they said they were aware of the problem and had to start from scratch with a new computer to see how to fix it. I'm  a huge Sonar fan but you'd think something that serious would have gotten some attention before the release. Anyway, I'm still onboard. Just bought +10db and it's real smooth. Maybe CW can give me something that does work to replace what I lost. :)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

AFAIK there's no reason why you can't use them. I suspect that there is a path issue somewhere. They definitely work here anyway.

Are they still installed on your system? Have you tried re-installing?

Yes I did reinstall with no luck. I did see another post with someone having the same issue. Thanks for your response. Yes, I believe its a problem within the folders.

    Hi Pawel,
Thank you for contacting Cakewalk! There is an error with the way the Command Center installs the Cakewalk Sound Center, which has been scheduled to be fixed. In the meantime, please try this:Delete the CakewalkSoundCenter.dll from the directory: C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Cakewalk Sound CenterEnsure you have CakewalkSoundCenter.dll in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Cakewalk Sound CenterMake sure your B-3 multisamples are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Cakewalk Sound Center\Modules\Multisamples\Rapture. If they aren't here, copy them over from the 64-bit directory. You should have a "Sound Center Classic B-3" subfolder within the Rapture folder.

If you do not have this file, go into C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Command Center\Downloads and run the Cakewalk Sound Center setup. Select a 32-bit installation.Make sure your B-3 multisamples are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Cakewalk Sound Center\Modules\Multisamples\Rapture. I can confirm the Cakewalk Sound Center installation is still broken for Sonar Platinum 64 bit.
One has to manually select a 32 bit install as stated above, or at least I had to.

SOoo pleased ... and furious 'cause I paid for the sound FX from DSF and have had smoke coming outa my ears trying to get Cakewalk Sound Centre to play them. After several emails to someone called Tim, who actually emailed to say he was 'still scratching my head over this one' I decided to take the sound file from the download / copy and paste to my one shots file.
I will try the 32 bit fix later ... so thanks

I have been crashing as well, yesterday I got the message,   Module  C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll
Very frustrating, I love my Sonar but it's tough to be creative with all the issues I've been having.

There is a thread somewhere in here on how to reset, reswizzle the files.  The post above sounds familar as I had the same issue at one.   I found my old thread:

If you are running 64 bit, copy/merge  the entire contents of program files/cakewalk/Vstplugins/Cakewalk Sound Center to same under program files (x86).   Apparently Sound Center is a 32 bit application and no when bundled with newer versions of Sonar, it seems to put it under the 64 bit path.    I tried this and all my new sounds (hammond and steinway) all work now
