Mark 2 studio is selling cheaper from Overloud for me (priced in euros). Not sure what's up there.

I love my Mark bass plug in, but I am new to playing bass so not rally qualified to rave about it. Being new I watched youtube tutorials on playing, and seeing so many video tutorials with that distinctive Orangie yellow cone in the background, reassured me that it was sound worth imitating

I like the bass amps in Amplitube Fender. You can demo these through the custom shop.

Intel i7 3770K @4.4GHz, 32GB RAM, 240GB SSD System disk, 2 x 2TB and 1 x 1TB (with SSD Cache) HDD. Windows 10,  Sonar Platinum. Roland Quad Capture.
Music - Switchwater on Soundclick

So i guess the conclusion to draw from this thread is we have very few choices when it comes to bass

The first 3 books in "The Musician's Guide to Home Recording" series are available from Hal Leonard and http://www.reverb.com. Listen to my music on http://www.YouTube.com/thecraiganderton, and visit http://www.craiganderton.com. Thanks!
