Thanks for the update, but I see still no fix for Rapture Pros inordinate loading time when using it the first time in a project and then trying to re-open the VST window at a later stage. And it's ability to crash the entire system.

Also a MAJOR fix to Command Centre. It really should NOT have to re-scan and fully reload everything each time ONE update is done...

Apart from those two small gripes, another job well done.

That would be a Rapture Pro update, not a SONAR one. I suspect one isn't too far off, based on Cakewalk's comments in the Instruments forum.

Good update Cakers - S-PlatE is the best performing Sonar I've ever had installed, and that's saying something because 'D was a screamer.

Yeah, it does seem that way.  I just opened a rather large project that felt a bit sluggish in D, but feels very snappy in E.  Also, I'm not getting crashes when closing some project files anymore - possibly related to this fix:
  • Resolved a fatal error with Track Templates insert/delete/load

My experience as well, I think the emphasis on fixes is having definite results. I also know they're not done yet, but the progress so far is really encouraging.

The drum replacer is a separate installer at the bottom of the SONAR installers folder and requires a VST scan

Re: SONAR "Everett" now available 2015/05/30 03:19:35 (permalink)
Hmm ... a degree of confusion for me. I ran the update to Everett that appeared in CCC next to yellow-lit Sonar. It completed successfully, but I didn't seem to have the new stuff when I ran it. So I went back to CCC, found Sonar displaying a green light and confirming that Everett had been installed. Scratched head. Then I realised that the level below Sonar had a bunch of yellow lights and one red light. So I had to run each of these installers separately, and after each CCC did a full scan. All installed now, but I don't need to spell out at least two ways that this could be more straightforward.

Sorry for that.
Turns out I forgot to install the Sonar Update in Command Center after having installed all other updates from Everett.

When trying to use Drum Replacer I get the following warning:

Sorry, Drum Replacer cannot be used in earlier versions of SONAR, or non Cakewalk hosts.

Please upgrade to Sonar Platinum to unlock full functionality.

It still opens but it doesn't work, e.g. no change compared to original track.

I have Sonar Platinum + X3e on the same computer, perhaps that's why it's confused.

Hope you fix this soon.

I too have Sonar X3e and a bunch more installed but DrumReplacer wasn't confused. It opened in Sonar Platinum.

Try doing a reset and rescan. Preferences>VST> select Rescan.

If you update Sonar Platinum all will work as expected! This is the item that will also open the submenu. Until you do it will remain yellow.
