I did manual labor from before 8am until after 6pm in 95 degree F heat today.  I was part of the bright side of life...

Back when I worked alone and had no team to manage I used to work outside from 8 till 6 every day through the summer, walking dogs in the searing heat and humidity. It gets to you eventually. You get so tired of walking around in damp, sweaty clothing and feeling dirty all the time. There is one consolation however, and that's getting home, flicking on the AC, getting in the shower, scrubbing yourself from top to bottom and then pouring yourself an ice cold drink. Bliss.

Went to the backyard ... turned on the sprinkler, and sat with my back to it, reading a book ... now that was a cooling experience!
