Hey, Daniel,

This is a really cool song, well written and arranged with a fun concept, fantastic playing and dynamite vocals!

Your vocals really sound stellar on this, I love the playing and tone of the tasty guitar solo and lead fills, and the clear, punchy, modern sounding mix sounds radio ready to me.

Excellent work, Daniel, totally pro sounding all the way!

Best Wishes,
Bob

Starise
I think you definitly have the voice for this kind of music. The mix is well done...my first impressions are that you would make a good front man in almost any rock or pop group. The playing and composition are nice as well. The highlight is the vocal . I kept wanting to hear just a bot more grit in the vox..I know...usually clean vocals are said to be best, but I think your tonality lends itself well to a more gritty approach. I'm not inferring that you sing grittier but that maybe some effects might make it slightly diry...just the hint of tubes maybe?

Thanks a lot, Starise!
...I used the Waves Butch Vic plug-in on the voice with some very slight tube saturation added.
Maybe a little too careful, but I have this certain frequency in my voice which can sound harsh easily.
Thanks for the feedback!

Best regards

Daniel

What I've heard sounds great. I'm having some issues with soundcloud today, but when I can get back to my daw I'll give it a proper listen through my monitors. This laptop sucks! and Soundcloud is being wonky today.

F'n Outstanding.  Your vocals are perfect.  Production is fantastic.

I'll also shout out again about Bad Moon Rising, which I "Liked" on SoundCloud maybe two years ago, and still think is better than the original.  Your version has some nice grit that CCR always lacked.

Keep writing and recording, Daniel.  The world wants more. :)

Hi Clint,

Thanks for listening! Glad to hear the mix translates O.K. I checked it in mono on my cheap little computer speakers to be sure the mix wouldn't completely fall apart before uploading to soundcloud.

Best regards,

I put all my free time (which is pretty limited) into music. At one point I guess I will have something that I can dare to present as "finished" project...
...two years since bad moon ... man, does time fly...

Best Regards,

Daniel

Hi, Daniel, wow, thanks so much, I really appreciate that, and it means a great deal to me!

I actually shot a video for "Concrete Sky" about two years ago, not sure if you ever saw it, but you can check it out here if you'd like. https://youtu.be/ebNVWU3JwDw

Still love listening to "Superfluous", fantastic theme and dynamite vocals, playing and production work!

Best Wishes, Have a Rockin' weekend, my friend!
