Mackie C4 and MCU question.

Hi all, happy new year. Has anyone used Mackie's new C4 controller yet? I've already got their MCU (firmware 2.1.1) running Sonar4.0.1. What I need is a controller that can controll soft synths from within the DXi synth rack. I can't seem to do this with the MCU as it will only "see" synths, and plugs that are loaded as an insert of an audio track or a bus.

Does anyone have success controlling synths from the synth rack with the MCU?
