Home Studio 7

A friend gave me Home Studio 7 for Christmas present. I am looking all over this site to find out more info about it. Is this program comparable to the Home Studio 2 that you all are discussing? I'm starting to think I've been given a complicated and obsolete program. Can anyone here enlighten me about the differences?

Its a very old version of Home Studio... at least 5 years old or more. Its doubtful it will even work with Windows XP.

Unless it was shrink wrapped, its not even a legal version. Its not legal to give someone your old version of a program after you upgrade.
