This thread made me pull the JTM60c out yesterday and crank it. It IS a good sounding amp. It was taken apart and put back together, supposedly the design flaws were fixed but the tubes are still vertical under the chassis, I should add a clip on fan.
 
My JMP50 head was a '78. I sold it to Crusty. It had been modded with a pull switch for added gain. Added gain isn't my thing. I think if I had the spare cash I'd probably opt for a Vintage/Modern 100w head. I think a V/M would do everything I would want and more... heck, a Class 5 woud probably be more what I need but when has anything ever been about what I need.. I want it all and I want it now. LOL.
