I didn't have to deal with this issue.  When I moved up here, the moving company accidentally left a box on their truck which, naturally, had all of the old magazines I cared about as well as other personal stuff like photos and all my martial arts belts and plaques.  By the time I realized it was gone, the company tried to convince me that it was probably just in one of the boxes I hadn't opened yet - NOT!

...What the heck am I going to do with them?

I once gave away a big pile of mags (e.g. Beat Instrumental, International Musician) to a hospital for use in their waiting areas. A few months later I visited the hospital and checked some of these waiting areas. No sign of any my magazines! Maybe they were picked up by some collector.

Now that's a good idea..hospitals and doctors surgeries waiting rooms.

Should have checked the dumpster the next day.  Or perhaps the basement.

Hi,

One of the things that was in our family's library was a complete set of National Geographic magazines ... all the way since 1966 ... not an issue missing. At least, this did not go to Lisbon!!!!! It is at one of my sister's house.

I can imagine the value of those issues from the 60's and 70's!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

I used to subscribe to National Geographic years ago Pedro. The stunning photography in every issue was worth the price on its own.

Plus it was the sex education for millions of young boys back in the 60's (I also had the full set from probably 1965 through the 70's and beyond).
