Hi,
Madison West High ... 1969. The lady in charge of these things didn't like the hippies, the lefties, the blacks and everyone else. Never got an invitation for a school reunion, and on top of it all ... if you look at the school website, it is the only year that they are missing any information and listings. We were there for two years, and before that in Central High which was closed down for good, and the students divided between East High and West High. Almost all the names, except one friend in the West Coast, have all disappeared and never connected with any others.
We were also the class that got a few folks suspended from school (and I mean teachers and administrators) for being hypocrites and liars. They would not even lower the flag the day Dr. Martin Luther King was shot, and that Principal, likely a racist, was more concerned with sending 300 students to the showers and home, than he was with being honest and talk to the kids and find that the kids had a good point and respectful point. But folks like him, thought all the kids were just that ... back to the crib you hole!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!
