That is Sir Elton to you Sharke... The Madman Across the Water with the Tiny Dancer, his two best IMO.

I appreciate the artistry, the songwriting/playing/singing talent, but the songs always left me cold.


Elton John is also not my cup of tea .
I learned to hear and love his music with my current girlfriend in the eighties and nineties,
which absolutely not left me cold.

Billy Joel is probably my all time favorite piano man. Elton John is a close second for his music only.
 
I think what turned me off some was when I seen a show on cable where a camera man was following Elton John around behind the scenes and he was throwing tantrums like a little baby and yelling at people over trivial stuff...I'm sure there are others who have a different "persona" off stage too. I'm told Ellen degeneres is a spitfire off stage, been known to roll heads.
 
We all have a bad day, but this was over and above that. Elton still plays great music. Can't take that away from him.
