Cool tune.... Nice mellow yet unsettled vibe happening. The mix sounds pretty good here, nice balance. I also liked the reverb wash - great space but everything still has some clarity.

Thanks Stevec for the positive comments . Yea it sounds great in my car CD player and on my home CD player and it sounded good in my mixing monitor speakers when I mixed it . I know how too much reverb can wash everything out and I tried not to let that happen . Anyway thanks again for the listen and comments . I started writing lyrics for it earlier today , hopefully in two weeks I will finish writing the lyrics and have vocals added to this song .
Cheers ! James

Listened to this one again James. It's not about knowing what you are doing, it has to do with what others hear. What you might wanna do is post a RAW : "No Reverb version" and tell others what you are using for Reverb and see what they have to say on the dial of the Reverb. If you wanna make a mix for others to listen to that reply that is. BTW: You do realize that once you post your song anyone can download/record what you post don't you? Honestly, I think this needs words & vocals. I realize you make up and play Ambient groove/Trance type of songs, but if your gonna add vocals to your song, In my opinion you don't want ambient sounds with a ton of reverb behind the song, or a lot of reverb, it's all gotta fit together as a driving force in my opinion is what I am getting at. I don't know, how should I explain my opinion? Don't put yourself in a PICKLE of a situation by using too much reverb my friend!!! You'll find yourself in a Pickle of a situation if you use too much Reverb behind the vocals OR MUSIC!!! It's all gotta mesh man/FIT. Start out raw with none and mix it and add some reverb a little bit at a time..... Just don't get PICKLED when you MIX, you'll make this tune a Vlasic, I mean Classic............... I'm kidding but not Kidding James... What everyone is telling you is that you need the music RAW and Add Vocals and then work with the reverb, at least I think that's what it is. I like the song very much. Those are my opinions. Enjoyed the listen my friend. Thanks for sharing!

I would "Reverberate" with a comment, but I feel too Reverberated at this point in time so to speak, in a REVERBERATED Manner that is. Post a RAW version of this, with ZERO Reverb and let others know what you are using for REVERB would be my advice. The thing about the songs forums is that : "It is NOT about making a debut of your song as a selling announcement or launching pad for a campaign to become famous. It's about letting people hear your sounds, sometimes they have opinions, and sometimes they don't, but when if you ask for others opinions you should respect them for taking the time to listen"...... I was kidding with you earlier my friend, I know you've had a bad experience on these forums, but please consider that if you post something with words or sounds there are gonna be opinions, and just because you don't like them that doesn't mean they are all bad. Not everyone is out to get you James......... Either way, Turn off the Reverb Completely and less hear what this song sounds like NAKED without it and tell us all what you got to add a bit of REVERB Fluff to the tune.............

Cool track. Nice set of chords and sense of space. I've read some saying it needs a vocal or melody, but I think it stands as is...much like a Pink Floyd track that is part of a larger suite. Not even sure if Pink Floyd is an influence, but that's the kind of atmosphere I hear...and some Stereolab. It draws in the listener because it's hard to pin down. Good piece of work. Mark

Hi Mark thanks for the listen and comments , been knocking myself out with lyrics for this song . I think I have started over twenty times , when you haven't written anything in years it's sometimes a struggle finding the right words to express your feelings . Anyway I am working at it , hopefully in a week or two I will have something worth recording . Thanks again for your comments , take care !

Hi Kenny , been working on the lyrics and also went back in and removed most of the reverb in all tracks plus right now I having to record new tracks . Somehow my saved song files got screwed up , trying to record the tracks that were messed up after saving them . Anyway I'm working on it , hopefully in a week I will have lyrics and vocals added to my song . No rush I want it to sound better then before posting it and yes the reverb swimming thing is fixed . Thanks for the listen and comments Kenny , James

I'm back with a new improved very little reverb version of my Red Rooster song , let me know please if this new version sounds better . Like I said very little REVERB in this new uploaded version . Getting ready to add vocals to it this coming week-end , bought a new Microphone from Guitar Center last week so I want to try that out on vocals for this song .

I thought you were going to add vocals and words to this? I liked the reverb better myself. Sounded dreamy and I think that's what you were going for. Thanks for sharing, enjoyed hearing this, I was expecting a Vocal's added version though. Although, thing is, you left room to add vocals with reverb, so maybe that's the whole point? I'm not professional mixer so I have no idea. Maybe Reverb on the vocals and a dry panned out sound works together. Either way, sound good James!!! Enjoyed hearing this one my friend!!!

I wish more people would listen to your song James. I know the story/content might be a bit out there, but it is very entertaining and enjoyable to listen to. You should do a follow up "Story Song" to this, or write a movie script and get it produced, because this is a story telling song, which I like. Thanks for sharing, enjoyed hearing this one!!!!!!!!!!!!! ETC!!!!!

James, where are the proper links to this? If you don't like the reviews that's one thing, but you should at least let everyone hear what it is people are talking about in the thread man.....
