totally agree on a good year.

... and I'm surprised how well the transition between versions goes. At first I wasn't so much in favor of monthly updates because I was expecting way more troubles - and to be honest: I had none that I could relate to an update. Issues I had were usually left overs from old code and even these problems got sorted - thanks to great attention from Noel and his crew :-)

+ a million !! Couldn't agree more.

I was skeptical at the beginning of 2015 when this monthly updates scheme came up, not due to the periodicity which is very welcome but because I was not sure what to expect for what we pay as we were expected to pay upfront for a future year of updates and fixes compared to a new annual release where I would know what I am paying for (of course the monthly payment option was there but that was never under my consideration).

I must gladly admit Cakewalk delivered much better than what I would have imagined in terms of content, speed and stability. The best part is the look-aheads and coming soon previews which is what now addresses the concerns I had at the beginning. It helps to have those for a longer term than just a month which is why the "Coming in Spring 2016" proved to be a lot more attractive and effective than just a "coming next month" approach. So bakers, bring on the "Coming in Summer 2016" followed by Autumn, Winter and so on......

Kudos to the team. Looking forward to new levels and more exciting times in the world of Sonar and Cakewalk !

Cheers and happy music creation....
